The museum is a collection of a good many vintage automobile models used by the Mewar dynasty of Udaipur. The premises of the museum was originally the Mewar State Motor Garage, under the HRH group.

Bangore ki haveli is a beautiful palace in Udaipur on the waterfront of Lake Picholi and is an amusing spot among the tourist places in Udaipur. It houses the famous paintings of the Mewar regime inside the Queen's chamber. In addition, the palace is filled with pieces of art on glass. Saheliyon ki Bari in English means the ‘garden of maids’. This garden represents a green retreat of Maharana Sangram Singh in the desert lands and was built in the 18th Century for the royal ladies of Mewar.
